On Thursday we had a chilli eating contest. We ate jalapenos and green chilli. Solomon ate 1 whole jalapeno I nearly spewed up with less than a 1/20. Here is a photo:

My observation:
The little leaves were white nearly transparent. The stalk looked like a white stick. The middle was also white. But the outside was light brown and dark brown.

Mini Olympics

Mini Olympics

On the last Friday of term two we had a mini olympics.  We had paper plate discus, paper basket ball (we thre w a paper ball into the bin),  long jump and the final event.  Not everybody competed in the final event.  My team won the mini Olympics.  67 points. The closet to us was 43 points.  We got heaps of little things, like chocolate, a plastic medal, a dice in a dice and two moustaches each.

On Tuesday we made sherbet. We made it at maths for measurement, capacity and volume.

On Friday we layered liquid. I did not make this one, I made a different one. Because I took mine home. We did it to see what liquid had the most and least density of them all.

Finally we find a park. Dad runs like the wind to help us with the picnic gear.Mum, dad Cullen and I walk to the gate to pay. $50 dollar´s I shouted in my marvellous mind. Then we walk into the ring...

Zoom! The tiny cars speed around the dirt track. The checkered flag flying. Victory lap for the winner. Then the next car´s come out to race. Over the loudspeakers now it's time for the demo. derby...

¨Yay!¨ Cullen and I shouted at the top of our lungs. Now the gate opens so the cars can come out. The cars come out as slow as a old man driving a car. Finally they all come out. They suddenly started up, ready to go. At the start they cruised around. Boof! Bang! Whack! They started to smack into each other. Two, three, four down all ready! Suddenly another 6 go out by whacking into the sides. 7 more to go. The TAPS car is still in. The last three.Our TAPS car is just staying in. Boof another car goes down. Our car got backed into by another broken car and stopped. 2nd is good enough for me.
